About Barking Lodge Primary

 The Barking Lodge Primary School was established in 1965 in the Barking Lodge District of St.  Thomas. It is located to the extreme eastern coastal area of Jamaica in St Thomas. It is fifteen (15)  miles east of Morant Bay the capital and four miles Southeast of Golden Grove one of the nearest  towns. The school which is a multi-grade school serves the communities of Barking Lodge, New Pera, Hampton Court, Springfield, Hill Top and to a lesser extent Rocky Point, was built to accommodate  three hundred (300) pupils. Most of the school’s population is from the New Pera, Springfield and  Barking Lodge area.  

Our curriculum is designed to provide a well-rounded education that encourages critical thinking, creativity, and innovation, and prepares our students for success in a rapidly changing world.
